Our story
The Vermont Avenue Tire Shop
We're El Tigre Tires, a neighborhood tire shop at 2241 Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles. Drivers come to us for one reason: we get you back on the road fast, at a price that makes sense. A patch that other shops quote at $50 with a wait, we've handled in five minutes for half that.
We'll always give you our honest opinion. If a tire is still good, we'll tell you it's still good. We don't sell you what you don't need. That's why customers keep making us their first stop for tires.
We're open every day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays, because flats don't wait for business hours.
- Open 7 days a week
- Honest recommendations: no unnecessary upselling
- Fast flat repairs, often in minutes
What customers say
“Needed to get a hole in my tire patched, called two places nearby and they both quoted around $50 and told me I had to hurry up to get it by the end of the day…brought it down to El Tigre and they took the nail out and had me on my way in 5 mins for $25, very professional highly recommend”
“Great service fast and efficient thank you for making this experience easy. One of my tires needed to be patched, and their professional opinion was great and honest.”
“Ive gotta commend these guys, they are very helpful, they will also never try to sell you something you don't need. If a tire is still good, they will tell you it's still good. Plus, the prices are in my opinion absolutely fantastic so any time I need some new tires this is the first place I go. Thanks a bunch!!”
